Mother's Day!

Well, what a day!

Firstly, my little cherub, wee C, woke me up inadvertently at 06.48 this morning, sneaking into our bedroom and leaving a hand-made Mother's day card on the bed for me. Which would have been fine, but then she decided it was a good idea to wake up wee D too....

...however, wee D is as grumpy as anything when he is woken up before he wants to be... Oh dear!

Still, hubby took the kids downstairs for breakfast, leaving me to sleep for another couple of hours - bliss! While I was sleeping, wee C made this picture for me and stuck it up on the fridge with letter magnets - she had to use her imagination to create the word 'Mummy' using various letters of the alphabet (seeing as there's only one of each letter) - clever cookie!

And it's been a great day, no fighting, no arguments, no yelling - just happy kids, playing together outside and laughing LOTS! What a difference it makes - maybe it was the sunshine, but it made for such a lovely Mother's Day. And the M&S meal deal made for a lovely dinner too... yum!
