A Quiet Country Cemetery

In the peace and calmness of the early morning I quietly strolled through this country cemetery. I could feel the warmth from the sun upon my back, the grass was wet with sparkling dew drops while the sky above was vibrant blue with long thin drawn out clouds centering towards the cross of this little building.

The little building held my interest for quite some time - a sealed path leading from the entrance way of the cemetery to the simple door and gently framed by two Oleria bushes and succulents growing by the doorway.

The headstones were beautiful - all so different from the norm, with a wonderful variation of old and modern, side by side.

I quietly strolled away as the early morning began to grow, as people started to arrive to tend to loved ones - a weekend of Easter approaching and also with ANZAC day approaching on Monday, such special occasions.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter, time with family and friends.
