Man at work

It's been a lovely day.

First C and I went to Hexham this morning. There was a farmers' market and extra stalls on the Sele for St George's Day. We saw a lot of friends and acquaintances.

Home for lunch and a quiet time reading the papers, then, with the final touches to my St Clements pavlova done, we set off for a BBQ at S and L's. Here is S enjoying himself greatly as he starts to cook food for us all.

Then to the Queens Hall for an evening Sing a long organised by Rotary. It was great fun with music ranging from Northumbrian, to Beatles, to songs from the shows, to WWII and ending with the National Anthem.
