The Club

After a nicely lazy morning and a few household chores, it was time for lunch, which was with Carl's mum and dad. We had a great meal (originally intended to be in the open air, but moved inside when the clouds rolled in and things went chilly) and a rare old non-stop chat time, and stayed there until six o'clock or so.

After that it was time for a pit stop in The Club in Dalkey. It's a fine old pub, whose décor some might find a bit ornate and over the top, but which is done very effectively. For the second day running I couldn't resist the temptation to do a reflection blip and a sneaky SP.

After an evening meal which i failed to do justice to, friends from across dropped in for drinks and a chat, and the night ended in Carl's Kino with a screening of the utterly wonderful WALL-E.
