Louvre Pyramid with Shadows-??

After the intense days of the wedding, we went to the Louvre this afternoon--and I was struck by the people reflected in the reverse pyramid in the Carrousel du Louvre. This is the impulsive result--just with my point-and-shoot (which later refused to focus at all (:

The exhibitions we saw: 1) Rembrandt and the figure of Jesus--how he brought Him down to earth. 2) Claude Lorrain as a draftsman of nature. 3) Xaver Messerschmidt and his expressive heads. (The Louvre site seems out of date, so I'm not linking to it.)

The Louvre Pyramid and everything linked to it is a work of genius by I.M. Pei, in my opinion. There were protests at the beginning, but I think since then Paris has totally adopted it. An earlier Louvre blip is here, with a link further back.
