Northampton Bread!

On our return from Boston this noon, we went to buy bread at The Hungry Ghost bakery--Northampton's best, in our view. Their loaves often rival the quality and feel of the best Parisian bread (shown in my blip of less than a month ago).

They use a marvelous wood-fired oven (I'll try to blip it in the future, when they're actually baking). They do cookies and such, as seen in the lower left, as well as quiches, vegetable turnovers, etc. (unfortunately not available today, since the pastry chef was off).
