Takings to date....

A tennis ball is a ball designed for the sport of tennis , approximately 6.7 cm (2.63 in.) in diameter and is usually bright yellow, but in recreational play can be virtually any colour. Tennis balls are covered in a fibrous fluffy felt which modifies their aerodynamic properties.

Living next door to a tennis court has "advantages". Sometimes I "love" it knowing that this bit of space is open and "set" to stay that way for a long time. I'm always "game" for a wander round the garden picking up the strays, and here are a few waiting for a re-"match" with their owners.

Of course, the downside is the noise - ecstatic screams (what on earth IS going on), occasional naughty language. But I think I will keep these and sell them back to them later in the season (proceeds, of course, to charity!).
