Regrowth

Two nights of 14 degree freezes this winter killed back to the ground this Oleander and two of its companions. The shrubs were at least seven feet tall and provided nice screening for our front yard. The dead parts were removed with a chain saw.

But there is hope. New shoots are springing forth and it appears that the root system is alive. That will save a lot of work in digging up the old plants and replacing them with new.

The black object is a drip irrigation hose.
