Thurgoland Boundary Walk

Today as been an absolutely glorious day for our annual boundary walk. Nine miles through some of the most beautiful country in the UK.

The walk starts at The Bridge Inn, Thurgoland at 10am. Here people are gathering in the car-park ready for the start of the walk. The youngest person to complete the walk today was a young man who is just six. I'm not sure about the oldest.

We think there were 160 people taking part and as we were the back markers, and had to wait for a couple of families who arrived late, the main group of walkers were soon long gone across the fields and back at the pub to get their pie and peas before we were two-thirds of the way round. It all seemed to go off without incident and we need to say a big thank you to Anne R for making sure everything went to plan.
