No 72 Mistle Thrush

Here's a bird that's been waiting in the wings, if you'll pardon the pun! I went to stake out the Ring Ouzel today, and got several sightings of it, but no chance of a photo. Likewise a common sandpiper, curlew, several lizards and my first damsel flies of the year. it's been a day of changing light and showers. Enjoyable but somewhat frustrating! I did get a photo of a levitating mistle thrush, but opted for this one - listening out for worms wriggling below ground, - for fear a fellow blipper would think I was copying!
