Preserved beauty

In this case it was not me who created the subject but my wife, who had pressed a number of specimens from the garden. All I had to do was set up the picture.

What I like is that it reveals an incredible amount of detail that you would never see in the live plant. It is no substitute for the vibrant colours of the living flower, but fascinating nonetheless.
