Don't you eat from my apple tree ...

About a month ago I could show you the first blossom on the apple tree in the backyard. Soon it's gone and there are many other interesting things attracting one's attention.

This morning I spotted the develloping of the first apple. But when I looked closer I was suddenly alarmed. In the whole tree, behind the first green cover, were yellow and brown leaves and lots of them, except some veins, were eaten by small caterpillars. Saw hundreds of them.

I spent my day to free the tree from this plague. And I show you here how it looked like.It's incredible how quick a fresh green leaf disappears between the grinding jaws of these small creatures ... :(
