His usual perch

I don't know if I am blipping the same song sparrow in the same spot, but it's a fact that I frequently encounter a song sparrow perched on these brambles on the edge of an open field. Some people call these little sparrows LBBs because all Little Brown Birds look similar, making sparrow identification a real challenge.

We had wonderful weather today. After a cloudy start when rain had been predicted, the sky cleared up and the temperature (low 70s) couldn't have been better. We've had so much rain this spring, making a day like today really special.
