Badger Stone Relay

I wanted to try to capture some kind of feel for this race on Ilkley Moor tonight, but it was really difficult. Poor evening light did not make it easy to snap runners at fast speed! I've run this race many times over the last 20 years, and helped organise it a few times, so it was strange tonight to be wandering over the course with a camera, not directly involved in the event.

This is certainly not a great blip, but it does at least give a sense of the wild expanse of the moor and the freedom you get from running, even in an organised race!

Anyway, next year I intend to be back running it again, and hopefully still blipping the race. Relays are great because you get to watch as well as compete.
