Memorial Day Bouquets

After attending the last night of the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, the one time of the year when downtown Jacksonville resembles a city, with streets filled with people, I had to call in at the Publix supermarket in Riverside for essential supplies.

The trip to Orlando had kind of upset the logistical supply and I was out of milk and bread. I am not the best person to encounter first thing in a morning; without my coffee and toast, I am even worse. It was therefore prudent that those supplies were in place.

I noticed this display of bouquets and was struck by the vibrant colours and of course the red, white and blue theme.
