What Are You Looking At?

Back to summer again after several days of distinctly unseasonal weather. It was good to see people milling around the steps on their way back from the beach or on en route to a bar for pre-evening cocktails.

I'm wondering what it was that three members of this group were looking at and why the fourth wasn't at all interested. My imagination seems to be on the blink so I can't even come up with a bunch of my usual nonsense...
