Ah, Grasshopper

I wonder how many of you though of the tv series with David Carradine when you read the title?

Met this handsome chap while out for a walk and it had to be today's Blip. When I think about it, I've not seen many grasshoppers. And I find things like this fascinating. I watched it for a good while and was quite amazed at how co-ordinated it is and really how graceful it is. Lovely colour too.

In other news, I can tell you of the latest Great German Language Debacle. I got up to feed the cat at Cat O' Clock and went downstairs, did the needful and returned to bed. In the spirit of trying to speak as much German as I can, I tried to tell G "I fed the cat" which would be "ich habe den Kater gefüttert". Now then. I was fine up to the gef- bit but I chose the wrong verb and said "ich habe den Kater gefressen". You should google-translate that to find out why G laughed out loud.

German - it can be fun to learn sometimes.

Today's song comes from the film Rangeela and features Urmila Matondkar. She's lovely. She's channeling a bit of Cyndi Lauper & Toni Basil in this one.
