Alien

I mentioned before that I'd spotted Dragonfly larvae in the pond so I was very excited when I saw this on one of the water lily leaves. I thought I had perfect timing and was about to witness the miracle of Dragonfly transformation.

Of course I wasn't. That had happened long before I rolled up in the middle of the afternoon. Still, I love how blimmen alien this looks. It probably looks better in large but I've never figured out how to link to something that isn't there yet.

Other news consists mainly of thunder storms, a very quick red squirrel sighting, dopey cats and a very nice pudding tonight (real vanilla ice cream and fresh garden strawberries eaten outside in the evening sunshine - it was pretty good).

We were in the City Of Bears today because tomorrow, we're off to Offenbach for a late afternoon show of Ready. This is the latest Salman Khan film and I've grown to really enjoy his OTTness and his willingness to laugh at himself. This is a bit of a taster. And yes I know he's bothering his trousers a lot in this - you should see him with his belt in Dabangg.
