Too Hot For Snowman

Today we went on a family day trip to Brighton. We jumped on the train and took Toddler's guide book "The Snowman". When ever we watch The Snowman, which is often, we talk about the Pavillion in Brighton so today we took her to see it. She has actually seen it before but that was a year ago so she can't possibly be expected to remember.

When we arrived Toddler wanted to know where the boys house was from her book, we told her we did not know, and that he was probably bigger now. Amazingly she excepted this though I think she was looking for him all day.

The weather ended up being incredible, too hot for snowmen thats for sure. We wandered round the museum and took some gallery shots as usual and then showed Toddler the Pavillion before going to an Italian restaurant for lunch.

After lunch we took a visit to the other Brighton landmark in Toddlers book, the Pier, or at least the one still standing anyway. Toddler and I had a go on the Dolphin racing, we came second at our first attempt and the first on our second and won a cuddly dolphin that Toddler has called Whale.

After a bit of a run around back at the Pavillion gardens we headed for the station and tucked into a bag of Percy Pigs on the way home.

All of us behaved and there were no tantrums, not even from me. So a really nice family day had by all, that even Baby pooping in the bath again could not spoil.
