Clouds

Yesterday a walk, today a ride, was the plan. But, being a holiday weekend, there was no pressure,. A leisurely breakfast, a tidy of the room and packing, a bike ride around the area, and then ... it was late.

Actually it was attributed to Adam and I riding partway up the Ohau access road (tough eh Adam!), crossing a ford (woohoo you made it Adam), and then meeting Craig who is the ski area manager. We discussed snow making.

And then back down the road to the lodge, Monopoly Deal was brought out, and while Mike and I disused ski area marketing, bike trail marketing, regional market and any other topics) the kids et all played cards. Brilliant day actually, no agenda, but to have fun.

And then at 1pm, time to head home. A lovely weekend away and very memorable. The kids just didn't want to go home!
