~Holy Friday or Passion Friday~

Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday,
commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ at Calvary.

This is an image of a sculpture at my church,
Santa Catalina Catholic Parish.
It is one of fifteen outdoor sculptures depicting
the 'Stations of the Cross' in church theology.
These works of art were created by Tony Frey, of Ontario, Canada. The molds of the originals were shipped to Italy to be cast in bronze.
The church has been very kind to allow me to be the
caretaker of the stations and the surrounding desert garden.
A labor of love for me, to give back to God
a small gift for what he has given me.
