Flower power - the bride choosing her bouquet

A lazy morning just catching up then a walk to the Mall for lunch and some shopping, the most important purchases being the 3 bottles of fizz and 4 corsages. Suddenly we've come to realise that, despite what #1 son told us, this is an important and significant occasion and as parents we're a bit under-prepared - no tartan,no heather and no duty free fizz!

Came back for a quick dip and relax by the pool then off to celebrate W X's 27th birthday at 'Spicy Crab' (crabmeat and chopsticks are NOT easy). then it was back to the florists as W H had decided she wanted a bouquet after all - pink and white roses. the corsages are 3 red carnations (red is lucky in Chinese culture) and one white one, which #1 son bagged.

Back to #10 for the Oreo ice cream birthday cake (2 knives broken). We sang Happy Birthday and during that W #3 (W S) phoned from Brisbane.

Finally, after 10 o'clock the groom got his suit jacket for tomorrow -long story.

Early start tomorrow!
