Swimming Against The Tide

By ViolaMaths

Curiosity!

"What, you want us to stay still? While you wave that interesting thing in our faces? We need to come and sniff it, wave our whiskers at it, and, if you'll let us, gnaw the edges of it! Oh, and by the way, while you have our door open, is there any chance of some of those tasty treats we had yesterday?"

"No boys, you may NOT gnaw the camera, and I'd really appreciate if you'd stay still(ish) long enough for just a nice picture for the blipfoto people. Oh, and OK, one rat treat each for now. You can have another at bedtime tonight - remember, it's two each per day - don't want you to become too stout do we!"

*Charlie & Moses waggle their whiskers excitedly*

A domestic day today. Swam 40 lengths to start with in the outdoor pool (quite chilly today), then came home and did daily cage clean, fresh nuggets and water, and chatted to the boys.

Quite a bit of house sorting too - starting to make our living quarters habitable too!

Bit of work at my desk.

Bit of viola practice.

Moses came out for an explore and made himself jump knocking over a box set of Beethoven Symphonies! He's definitely the braver of the two - Charlie is still preferring to stay in the cage, but is coming to explore when I open the door more and more!

Marvellous little fellows! :-)
