I love getting flowers. These are from R+D who visited at the weekend.

I am now on betablockers my heart having gone into overdrive. I don't think I have ever been this frightened in my life. My heart was beating so fast that it was impossible to take my pulse. Initially the dose was too high and made my heart beat far too slowly -a very strange experience. I don't think my body knows whether it is coming or going. It is a relief not to feel or constantly hear my heart pounding. It made me realise that I have put up with it for a very long time. More bloods today too. I hope they bring good news, but it may be far too early to tell.
