Paradise City Reflection

This is the intersection of Market Street and Bridge Street in Northampton, just a long stone's throw from the center of our small downtown.

In the background is the Paradise City Tavern, serving burgers for $6.95 as the sign says (view it large). When we first came to Northampton in 2002 looking to move, it was an upscale restaurant. It was my wife's birthday; we had dinner there and afterwards we walked five minutes to look at again at the condo on Union St. which we had first seen that afternoon and which we agreed to buy the next day. Memories, memories.

I blipped the same corner in a snowstorm last December--in about the same direction but from quite a bit further away.
