Deal!

Our offer on the house has been accepted!!!! Woo hoo!!!

Subject to our conditions of a second viewing (heading there shortly) and the outcome of a couple of specialist reports (given that the house is 111 years old!)

Can't quite believe it....after all the deliberation over the other house then out of the blue this one pops up and bang....we've found our new home! Mindblowing to think that this time last week we didn't even know the house existed!!

Can't stop grinning! :)) And in researching the history of the house, I have found an amazing connection between it and my childhood that I will tell you about in a future blip. It absolutely confirmed to me that this is the right house. Just hope we don't get a report back saying it's riddled with damp or woodworm!!!

In other (not so good news) visit to dentist reveals I have an infection in a lower back molar that has caused me problems for years and the only viable outcome is extraction. Trouble is the root is right down to the nerve in my jaw so I've been warned there may be some permanent numbness!!!! So I'm between the devil and the deep blue sea!

Won't be dealt with till after my hols so won't even think about it till then!

But saved the best news till last...popped into my mums after the dentist and I am amazed at how well she is doing! Tired from her radiotherapy but despite that she feels stronger every day and her appetite is improving. Fantastic! So proud of her. :))

Oh and today's blip is a little park in the town where my dentist is. Took a small detour on the way home to blip the bandstand and the statue of Aquarius that, thanks to my grandpa's tall tales, as I child, I thought was erected in my honour after my birth as Aquarius is my birth sign!!!
