Cedar waxwing in evening light

On my morning walk, all I got was exercise. Not one good blip opportunity presented itself. Exercise is good and necessary, but I really wanted a blip too, so after supper, I ventured out again. The weather was perfect, and the park was crowded with dog walkers, joggers, and families enjoying the closing hours of a beautiful summer day...one I will want to remember next January when the temperature dips way below freezing and snow makes my daily walk a challenge. I saw a doe and her fawn, but couldn't get a good picture of him as he gamboled through the woods behind his mother. Then before heading home I decided to visit the cedar waxwing tree one more time, and that made the whole walk worthwhile.
