Look no Hands

This is Bea the middle dog in my team of retrievers, showing of a skill which has been passed down from dog to dog three times now. The baby in the kennel has not mastered it yet. It was started by my first Flatcoated Retriever, Meg she liked to eat the hips on the Rosa hedging rose, and as the ones ran out that she could reach from the floor she started to stand on her hind legs tucking her fore paws against her chest so as not to get thorns in them. Bea has taken the techniec one stage further and hops/bounces along the hedge picking as she goes only coming down to the floor to snap stubben fruit stems. Thought we needed a break from horse stress related stories. Have a great night one and all.
