Royal Burgh of Falkland

The former Royal Palace of the Scottish kings. Rich tapestries, wallhangings, ornate furniture, beds carved out of palm trees, and a Chapel Royal. There is also the oldest Real Tennis court in the world. Mary Queen of Scots played here, and it is still in use today.

Had a wander around this beautiful town after touring the Palace. Floral decorations everywhere. A riot of colour, and beautifully preserved houses.
