Gillipaw's Journal

Crail Harbour, Fife, Scotland

A line up of ladies in the harbour this morning. I had to wait a while for each of them to reveal their name.

A lovely, blue sky day, I've even got a touch of the sun. A walk around Crail, considering several items in the Pottery for purchase later in the week. A long walk around Elie and Earlsferry, remembering many special places from ten summer holidays spent there back in the 70/80's.

Drove back to Pittenweem, parked at the harbour and walked up the Coastal Path to Anstruther, where we treated ourselves to High Tea at The Waterfront al fresco. This included fish and chips, salad, toast (why - is this a Fife thing?), scones, pancakes, cream, jam, cakes and a pot of tea. Good to have the walk back to the car to walk off a little of the excess.
