In The Occupied Territory

Not Sorry

This maybe a controversial Blip, but I make no apologies for it. This is one of these, ever so popular nowadays, roadside shrines to victims of road accidents. This one is for a young man who died when the stolen motorcycle he was on crashed into a car.
Am I harsh in having little or no sympathy for him and his? Several moths ago a friend of ours was seriously injured, and is still in hospital following an assault on him by 2 young men whilst trying to stop them stealing his motor bike
The guy who this shrine is for, had already served a 15 month custodial sentence for stealing a bike before and was banned from driving for similar offences.
He knew what he was doing, but the problems he has caused for others, e.g. the driver of the other vehicle, with the physical damage to his car and the any mental anguish the driver may be going through, is different.

Now take a close look at the items left by the road other than the flowers, One trainer containing a vodka bottle, (empty) a couple of cheap sweat shirts, a carrier bag containing, what looks like empty Coke bottles and a plastic JD Sports bag. Really?
Need I say more?
Am I judging too harshly?
