Dumyat Climb

Another gorgeous day so we headed out for a walk up Dumyat.

This was the third outing up Dumyat for the barmy army. Today the wee fella walked all the way to the top...all 418 metres. This is him popping a stone in the cairn at the top. His willingness to walk has come on a fair bit this summer...before the school holidays Mr R had quite a job persuading him to walk the 10 minute school run!

The last couple of times we were up the hill it was lambing season so we haven't taken the Weimaraner, even although he would have been kept on his lead. He joined us yesterday too...so another first.

When we came off the hill we headed home to drop off Canna as it was too hot to leave him in the car...we were planning on heading back out again for some coffee & cake/juice & ice-cream but once we all sat down we decided we didn't have the energy...all our cycling, swimming and walking finally caught up with us. Mr R popped round to the local shop for some ice lollies and a chocolate cake and we did our own afternoon fly cup and relaxed.

After dinner the kids had recovered enough energy to play Just Dance 2 on the Wii. Hilarious...of course there's no show without punch so I had to have a wee shot too...a wee shot was all I had...we were all tucked up in bed by 9pm.

Really enjoyed my weekend...
