A slice of Lesley's life

Cheap entertainment

This is how much fun you can have waiting to collect a watch for a friend that may or may not have been given to some random person without a receipt. It took a LONG time. Good job they had an aircon unit to keep the kids entertained. One day if our holidays always seems to be spent at Westfield buying things that manage not to get bought during term time. Fortunately it is such a marvellous shopping centre (not something I write lightly) that we were in and out in a relatively short time. Despite the watch debacle.

Kids were tired today after busy days yesterday so the afternoon was joyously spent relaxing on the sofa catching up on more Harry Potter films so we can all go to the cinema for the latest offering. Only one more to go.

Right now me and Carl are on the train heading to see Suddenly Last Summer which is my theatre group's current production. To be honest I'm not that optimistic about its virtues as a play (when I read it I thought it worked best as a short story) but on the plus side it is short so allowing lots of socialising time in the pub afterwards. And I am happy to be proved wrong.

Here's my stop so off I go. Another day has passed without catching up on the rest of blipworld but it's making its way up the list. In the meantime I hope and trust all are well.
