Biker's Shin

Bruises... scratches... jaggy nettle stings... tanned down to the top of the socks.

We waited until after the warmest of the sun had passed this afternoon (I know... sun... again) and headed off on another bike ride, along the River Forth towards Alloa and back. A bit stop-start as I'd taken the big camera this time, but am realising that's all a bit off a faff when you're on two wheels. Might not be doing that much. Of course, forgetting to take a spare battery and running out of juice halfway put that on hold anyhow and we made better progress after that.

Euan's much more spritely now; poor bugger had his front brakes sticking the past couple of trips. It was like cycling uphill all the time and he couldn't even free-wheel except on the steeper slopes. He's also getting a bit more road-wise and didn't come to a stop when a car approached any junction we were crossing like he did the other day. Mind you, there's some really inconsiderate car drivers out there when you're on less wheels than them.

Friday.

Beer.

Cheers!
