They're off!

Six teens from our church are off on their annual mission trip along with three adults (one not pictured). This is our granddaughter's (purple shirt on end of the row) first year to go. Her brother (our yard boy) went last year, but he has a job this summer, so he had to stay home.

I'll be away for a couple of days...We're off to Chautauqua in New York state with friends, and I'm looking forward to the break. I've been so busy lately. I'll back blip in a few days.

Weather report: Hot today, but not miserably muggy. Temperature in the high 80s. So far, this has been a hotter summer than usual. We'll see what August brings. I'm hoping for cooler, but my expectations aren't high.
