What plant is this?

The little sign stuck in the ground next to this plant said that it is an interrupted fern....an unusual name for an unusual plant, if you ask my opinion. I was in the park before 7 am again. We are having late May weather in late April...all week long, but I'm not complaining. I don't think anyone else is either.

After my walk in the park and then breakfast, I went to the Arboretum and took some more pictures. That's where I found this unique fern.

Oh, and one more thing...I blipped my favorite little swallow again. I'm sure it's the same one I blipped yesterday and the day before. It's a cheeky little bird that doesn't seem to mind being blipped.
