Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon

We had a very busy and lively Saturday which went on into the "wee sma' " hours of the morning , with a great wedding band called " Eriskay Lilt" and we danced the night away. Sunday was definitely a lazy, relaxing day for us and it looked as if it was the same for this magnificent stag we saw on the way out of Tarbert.

We were heading down to Clachan to see the art show when we spotted several stags resting under the trees on the brow of the hill a short distance from the road. Off course, as usual John pulled in further down the road and I had to hurry, fairly quietly, back up the hill on a road with no pavements to get back to a good spot to get a shot of these proud beasts. They sat there , lazing in the afternoon sun, undisturbed by my presence posing like monarchs surveying their kingdom. Can definitely see where the " Monarch of the Glen " title came from.

Still catching up with everybody for all those lovely comments on my 200 blip. Sorry If I haven't been in touch but today was the first day we had to do nothing and it was such a lovely day we just had to make the most of it and get out into the glorious sunshine. Didn't even make any meals apart from breakfast. Had a snack lunch a t Clachan and our evening meal in the new Chinese restuarant in Lochgilphead. Definitely lazy Sunday for us.
