Something to Crow About

Firstly I have to say that after yesterdays blip Baby put in his second best ever nights sleep, fingers crossed he will continue to prove me wrong tonight.

Today has been a busy day out and about from start to finish. The weather started out a bit ropey at first so we were concerned about our decision to have a picnic. Thankfully just after we got the rug out the sun came out too. The common was very quiet so we were kept under the watchful eye of a lot of these birds on the look out for a bit of free food. They seemed to enjoy organic rice cakes which I reckon will be the healthiest thing they have ever eaten on the common, as they are more used to the scraps from the drinkers BBQs.

After this we took a long walk home with a few stops on the way. Baby has really started walking now and so the walk took much longer than usual but hopefully all the extra exercise will help him sleep. Strangely he insisted on wearing a blanket over his head for the whole length of walking the common. I think he must think he is one of Micheal Jacksons little ones or something.

After a stop at the skatepark to watch some tricks and a stop at the Natural History Museum to watch some butterflies we headed for home, all four of us for the first time ever all walked out.
