Changing conditions

We woke to changing weather this morning. What was once a blue sky now had lovely shades and layers of grey to admire. This is an early morning view of some bedraggled Cotton Grass or Bog Cotton or the far nicer sounding Mountain Silk at Lax Firth near Lerwick.

As promised we had a lazy day today doing the rounds of the wonderful butchers and fish merchants on the island. They certainly have a great deal of tasty local produce avaialble and I've high hopes for my reestit mutton tonight.
