Plum Jam

I have plums coming out of my ears. My father in law. The boss, the boss' father, everyone is bringing me plums. So it's jam time. I boil them up with lots of sugar to 104.4C then check for setting point and then pass it to get the skins and stones out. It's quite nice but not my favourite kind of jam. I love the Reine Claude (Greengage), why don't they grow everywhere instead of plums?

Vey soon the apples will be descending on me too!
