What ales thee?

This is my son's booze shelf. He has a taste for things that reflect the past, quite literally, and recently bought this bottle of mead back from a National Trust property (he's been a life member of the NT since he was 18).

Might raid his supplies tonight, been two very long days at work and some old fashioned anaesthetic might be therapeutic.

Looking forward to the weekend - it's the Thames Festival which I love, followed by the Wisley Festival on Sunday and then we're taking the Mother-In-Law out for lunch for her birthday.
