I don't know...but they're happy

Which they were all afternoon at a birthday picnic for my brother's birthday in his local park. The kids found bushes to make dens in and run through, places to play ball and even an exercise area and running track to practice their 400m - you know, as kids do. Actually Carl joined in the last bit too. In his bare feet, which apparently is better than sandals. As I say, I don't know...but they were all happy. A fun and relaxing afternoon.

Which was a slight contrast to the morning in which we meanly made the kids tidy their rooms and even more meanly made ourselves tidy our own. Let's just say we all earned a relaxing afternoon.
