Fixed focal length challenge-Day 3

Today's focal length challenge involved using the "nifty-fifty" for portraits...primarily because today is my oldest grandson's 24th birthday, and we had a family celebration. Happy Birthday, Bryan! I still have a lot to learn about the 50mm, primarily because it is faster than my other lenses, but I'm learning to love it, degree by degree!

The picture shows our two oldest grandchildren (brother and sister) and the two youngest (brother and sister). The other three grandchildren, all boys, live in Arizona, so they missed the party today. Below are links to a few individual portraits I blipped today.

Weather report: The day started with overcast skies and cool temperatures, but it ended with mostly sunshine and 72 degrees...a lovely evening. No rain today, even though there was a lot of thunder rumbling over Lake Erie in the afternoon.
