Journey Through Time

Lavender Blue, Dilly Dilly

Thanks for the comments and the hearts and stars for my rose yesterday. Appreciate that!

Bill and I went for our first ever walk today at Burnt Bridge Creek Trail, which is a very long trail that traverses quite a chunk of Vancouver. We walked a portion of it, ending at a bridge crossing over Burnt Bridge Creek, where we saw ducks enjoying the cooler weather. It was a perfect day for a walk because of the overcast skies. I found a few things to take photos of and Bill really liked this blue wild flower/weed that was growing on the side of the trail. This might be a mallow, but I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law.

Have a great day, Blippers! See ya later.

The runners up:

Looking down on a duck.

Good Dogs

Before it's a stickery teazle, it is a flower. Who knew?

PS And if you look at the lyrics to the song, Lavender Blue, you realize that those are the silliest lyrics. Not sure what the dilly dilly stuff was about. But I always did like that song. Go figure.
