Eternal Memory - Mother Thekla

Today we went back to visit the priory of the Order of the Holy Paraclete in Whitby to remember the life of Mother Thekla. This was an altogether smaller, and I have to say more moving, occasion than her funeral and was attended by several members of St Anne's in York and some of the nuns from the Paraclete.

This was a wet, wet day on the Moors and a damp and cold day in Whitby which encouraged us to drive straight home after a late lunch together.
