At the station

I had my second swimming lesson today. I remembered some things from last week, but not all. Once I'd remembered all of it, I found I could swim the breaststroke without armbands and without sinking. The key is remembering all the bits I'm told to do and relaxing.

We then practised floating along on our backs, just kicking our legs - no arms as yet. Once I'd got the hang of coming out of the floating position to a standing position without swallowing the swimming pool, this exercise was fun. I swam about two lengths using this technique, which I'm very happy about. I think we're adding arm movements next week.
