Wood Sleepers

As today was the lasty day before the daily grind comes back to get us we asked Toddler what she wanted us all to do today. She wanted to go to the woods so we drove up to Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

After a rut around the play park and a spot of lunch we started out on a walk. Toddler was flagging early, as was I but after a while we hit our stride and were soon hiding in the bushes from each other.

Whilst Wife was trying to work out just what length of walk we had set ourselves on and Toddler was choosing a good stick I came across a mossy tree stump with some mushrooms on that I thought would make a good scene for some of the little cellar people. Being out and about there were not too many to hand but these two seemed about right.

Whilst I was taking the shot Toddler wandered over and after a deep breath she announced "Mummy, mummy, look what Daddy has found". She thought I had come across some little people in amongst the mushrooms.

On the way back to the car Toddler took a fall and was a bit of a mess. She had scratched her finger and knee which she decribed as having "a bendy leg" meaning it hurts when she bends it. We fixed her up and she slept if off in the car on the way home.

I have finally backblipped our holiday from last week now
