The Lozarithm Lens

Today was a wonderful Indian Summer day, far too good to waste indoors having a clear out, so instead I had an al fresco pub lunch at the Rising Sun near Lacock with a friend, and then we sat by the river Avon at a site where otters are known to live, enjoying the tranquillity.

The otters, water voles, herons, waterfowl, swans, fish and everything that moves on a river were all having a siesta, so I had to photograph these cattle that were standing in a muddy clearing between two fields.

It was the same story at Reybridge, but the light glistened on the river.
