Summer is icumen in!

Who would have thought that after 5 on a late September afternoon the Meadows would have been mobbed with people enjoying the sun, juggling, playing music, having BBQs, taking photos and enjoying a glass of wine. Felt very French. Also spotted Lady F and His Lordship taking the air on the Dower House patio - oh to have an outside space.

I was late getting to it myself. A peaceful morning in Frogston - no action so I got a lift home from at lunchtime. I then had stuff to catch up on and #2 son came by. He's off to La G tomorrow and is helpfully bringing some bits and pieces back. Molly didn't come back though. She is still on mouse deterring duty at #64 and seems to be enjoying roaming around the double upper. Maybe she'll come back a svelte cat after all the extra exercise.

After a trip to the back green with washing, then to the bank, the P.O. and the library (via a pistachio ice from Peter's Yard) it was out to The Stockbridge Restaurant with SBC. Not sure I really enjoyed it - food ok, but a bit 'nouvelle cuisine' for my mood. Didn't go on - came home to fall asleep in front of WDYTYA, boring Richard Madeley.
