It is Friday!

This is Tim Barty, last night at Burgundy's Wine Bar, on baritone saxaphone leading a quartet of Mo Witham on guitar, Roy Cansdale on base guitar and Ted Richards on drums. Tim is awesome on his baritone, an enormous instrument that is about 4 foot high (I ran out of paper to include more!) that is quite a challenge to play especially for a couple of hours. And Tim has no music in front of him - what talent. He becomes one with his instrument with his mind, soul and body totally in rythm with his sax. The sax is my favourite instrument and I must confess that I have 4!! - soprano, alto, tenor and baritone - its my dream to play in a jazz group but in the meantime I will keep sketching!
